3I: Influence, Initiate, Impact is created to address the leadership component of FemmeToxic by working with five young women's community groups in and around Montreal. 3I will help promote young women's leadership in community, civic and political actions. This is an exciting opportunity for us to work with young leaders!
BCAM is receiving funding from Status of Women Canada for this 24-month project to address barriers to participating in civic and community life facing girls and young women from diverse communities in Montreal. In partnership with community organizations, young women will be trained to lead and engage girls and stakeholders in the development of girl-led projects. Participants will then implement priority actions in their respective communities in partnership with local stakeholders.
