Breast Cancer Action Quebec is the only independent breast cancer organization in Quebec whose mission is to work for the prevention of breast cancer and the elimination of environmental toxicants linked to the disease.
You can become a member of Breast Cancer Action of Quebec by choosing one of the following three options: fill out the online form with secure payment, send a check to the following address: 469 Jean-Talon West, Suite 430, Montreal (Quebec) H3N 1R4 (including your full name, mailing address and, if desired, your phone number and email address to receive a tax receipt), or call us at 514-483-1846, ext. 2 to pay by credit card.
BCAQ relies on membership fees and donations from individuals to carry out its mission and stay in operation.

For more than 30 years, with your support, BCAQ has been working hard to get vital information about environmental and chemical links to breast cancer to the public, and we now know that our message is being heard.
Donating to BCAQ is quick and easy. As a charitable organization, we issue a tax receipt for your taxes for any contribution. Thank you for your generosity!
BCAQ wants to ensure that all Canadians understand the urgency of this message. We want to stop women and gender diverse people from being what Dr. David Suzuki has called the environmental ‘canaries in the coalmine’ and we want to ensure that our government is taking the necessary steps to stop industry from polluting our bodies and our environment.
Volunteer
At BCAQ, we believe that every action, no matter how small, can have a huge impact. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to contribute to a cause that changes lives, support people affected by breast cancer, and promote environmental justice.
Your commitment can be the catalyst for the change we are waiting for.
Ongoing volunteer opportunities:
- Writing – researching and creating content for websites and newsletters.
- Organizing workshops and events.
- Promoting events and campaigns.
- Translation (English to French, French to English).
- Photography and visual design: capturing events, creating visual materials for awareness campaigns, and improving the organization’s visibility.
- Organizing fundraising campaigns, both online and in person, to support the organization’s programs and mission.

BCAQ offers a wide variety of educational workshops. Contact us at info@acsqc.ca for more information or to make a reservation!
A team of facilitators is available to come to schools, CEGEPs, universities, workplaces, community organizations, and your local community. The presentation can be tailored to your needs. The workshops are offered free of charge, but donations are always appreciated. A contribution toward travel expenses may be requested for organizations in rural areas.

Organize a Workshop
At your school, community group, workplace, or local community. We offer a wide range of educational and interactive workshops on various topics for a diverse audience. Contact us for more information and organize your own workshop today!
Host an Event
We have several ideas for organizing an event on the theme of healthy cosmetics. For example, why not organize a screening of The Story of Cosmetics? Or choose a book from our selection for your book club or organize a film screening related to our themes? Feel free to draw on the ideas offered by our resources, recommended books, and films to create an event that will raise awareness of these issues in your community.

If you are a blogger, send us links to your pages and we will share them with our members. If you would like to create a blog for BCAQ, please send us your proposal and links to your work.

Throughout our website, you will find ways to share information with your friends. Email articles, post relevant material about an event on your Facebook or Instagram page. We want to make it easy to share our messages and information!
